What is eCensus?

A register by the community, for the community

The eCensus is a voluntary register of Arya Vysya community members in Tamil Nadu, run by the TNAVMS Youth Wing. Each member has their own record — personal and family details, education and occupation, contact and address — reviewed and approved by office bearers of their own district.

Once approved, you receive an eCensus ID. It is your single identity across every community service: the Vysya Pelli matrimony service today, and the eDirectory, Business Directory and Blood Donor network as they launch.

It is not a government census, it has nothing to do with Aadhaar, and your details are never sold or shared outside the community's own services.

Frequently asked questions

Who can register?

Any member of the Arya Vysya community of Tamil Nadu — including those now living elsewhere in India or abroad. Members below 18 should be registered by a parent or guardian.

Is there a fee?

No. Registration and every community service are free.

Do I need Aadhaar or any ID document?

No. We do not collect Aadhaar or any government ID. Your district office bearers verify registrations through the community.

How long does approval take?

Usually a few days. You can see your status on your account page; if something needs correcting, the reviewer’s note will appear there.

My family shares one mobile number. Can each of us register?

Yes. Each person gets their own account and password. When you log in with the shared number, you will be asked which account to open.

Who can see my details?

You, and the office bearers of your own district who approve registrations. State project administrators can see records only to run the service. Nothing is public.

Can I change my details later?

Yes — from your account page. Changes to identity details (name, date of birth, gothram, district) may be re-checked by your district.

How do I delete my data?

Use “Delete my data” on your account page. An administrator will process the request and confirm by email.

I was registered on the old Youth Wing website. Do I register again?

Earlier member records are being carried over. Try logging in with your old member ID or mobile number first — you may be asked to set a new password.

I forgot my password.

Use “Forgot password” on the login page to receive a code by email. If you did not give an email, ask your district office bearers for help.
